Schnitzel highly recommended, we even heard the schnitzel knocking. Price totally justified for huge portions. Very clean and tidy local. Very dog friendly whether indoors or outdoors.

Totally nice visit to the Gasthof zum Löwen. Exceptional service, totally accommodating. Really delicious, home-made food. The meat was great and the spaetzle was homemade and the tastiest I've ever eaten. Large portions. All in all a really nice visit. We will come again!

My brother and I had to do something in Kochel today and on the way back hunger took us to Bichl to the Gasthaus zum Bayerischer Löwen.We both had roast pork with two kinds of dumplings and red cabbage.The portion was really big and most importantly, it tasted very, very good!We'll definitely come back soon and try the other things

Had the plain chicken schnitzel/ fries and the rustic schnitzel and extra side salads. Tasted great and the price was right. Service was very friendly.
